Time… Flowing or stand still? Circular or linear?
What is time?
What is this thing that goes on without pausing…?
If it did not pass,
Then where could it have been? It must have been somewhere.
If It has passed, then where is it now?
It must be somewhere.
Where did it come from? Where did it go?
Where and When did the ticking process start? Where will it end?
What is time….?
Life goes on. Surely It waits for nobody.Time has eroded any significance the Gods ,Goddesses and mankind once had. When I visited this enchanting place located amidst bhagsunag waterfall located about 10 kms from Dharamshala I did not pray or offer a devotional contemplation, I merely admired the uncommunicative silence and inaudible historical saga it had to narrate, buried deep in time, becoming a thing of ‘Past’, forgotten just like running water becoming still after a series of steep drops..
Some of the most Powerful civilizations Personalities and mankind have come before us exhibiting courage, compassionate love, rich cultures ,believes ,ideologies, ethics and moral values, they all perished and declined .They couldn’t stand the test of time couldn’t defy the Buddhist theory of Impermanence.
No matter what you pursue in this life, someday, it will be forgotten. You will be overtaken and that’s how collective consciousness takes shape. There will be more powerful personalities and events after you. There will be better persuasions to be debated on, better anecdotes to laugh or cry at.Importance will become non-existent in contemporary world.I Know this is unamusing thought to contemplate on. No matter what you do in life, someday, it/you will be forgotten…There will be another narrative and that’s the way it should be.
The only moment we get is the present. We cannot change the past forgone, we cannot delve into the future yet.All the past, present and future exists in ‘Now’. All dimensions exist simultaneously as a series of eternal ‘Nows’. All possibilities at once. When a Reality manifests it transcends from the state of rest i.e. from Future state to ‘Now’ and we experience that in the Present .The mind is now living the planned moments which at one time was only a distant Futuristic thing and now being experienced and felt in real time as ‘Now’. And the so called ‘Now’ moments becomes ‘gone’ (Past).
Lets just live and enjoy the present moment, and do what we can today. After all the love you give is the love you be.. for all eternity :)
